Has anyone else had problems with their Home Legend bamboo click and lock engineered flooring?
My father recently installed the click and lock bamboo flooring in my living room dining room of my condo. I have only had the flooring for 3 months and there are significant scratches all over the floor. I am very careful to take my shoes off and not drag furniture or other things across the floor. I do have a small dog, but do not let him play or run on the bamboo floor. Last night I had some friends over and a few of the girls were wearing high heels with a smaller heel. There are now little circular indents all over my floor I am very disappointed in this flooring. The box said it was " highly durable" which is why I got it. It was also recommended to me by a Home Depot flooring guy. Has anyone else had issues with their engineered bamboo flooring? If so, did you call the company to complain? What was the result? I really want to call the company and have them come out and assess the damages but I am not sure that they will really do anything about it. There is a 25 year LIMITED warranty on the flooring. Not sure how the company will play that to their advantage. Any feedback would help
Question about bamboo shoots in Chinese cooking?
I have seen Bamboo shoots in Chinese dishes but I read that Bamboo shoots contain cyanide which is toxic...so how come asain people eat a dangerous poison like bamboo?
Propogating fargesia nitida(clumping bamboo)?
I just bought a 5gallon nitida seedling and I want to make more plants. If I cut the culms and stick them in the ground, will they turn in to full plants?If so how long does it take?

How can I keep my bamboo alive?
In the summer I purchased a bamboo to put in my garden. Since then it has done really well and got a lot bigger. Last month we had a lot of snow and as the trees still had their leaves it held lots of snow. Then all the snow fell off in one go on my 1m tall bamboo and squashed it flat. Last week the snow melted and it looked really bad. The same thing happened again yesterday and I don't know what to do to stop it from dying.

I'm looking for woven bamboo blinds?
Anyone know of some reasonable sites on line where I can find bamboo blinds in larger sizes. I need at least 96" wide. Found a couple sites but wow were they expensive Thanks in advance..I should have added that I have tried Home Depot and Lowes with no luck.
Staining wood (actually, bamboo) gray?
Would this look good? If not, maybe black? I don't want traditional looking floors. I can't find any pictures of gray stained wood, so I don't know how it would look...Thanks.Can I restain or refinish the floors a different color? I don't see how gray would be hard to color but I know nothing about floors.
Growing fargesia robusta (clumping bamboo)?
Im planning on adding fargesia robusta to my garden, but I'm not sure on if I can plant it when its snowing outside or if its worth growing.Does anyone have any idea how fast this bamboo upsizes and spreads as far as number of new shoots?I have runners now but I have never tried growing a clumping type before.
Wacom Bamboo Fun: Small VS Medium?
I'm thinking of getting a wacom bamboo fun, but I'm not sure which one to get small or medium. The medium sounds good because of the size, but I dont know if its worth it because I've only ever used a small 4x6" tablet does a bigger size make a difference in drawing? Or do you just adapt to any size tablet after a while?The main thing about the medium is that it comes with software I dont really need I already have corel painter and its a lot more expensive than the small.So is bigger really better, and is there another tablet thats A5, that isnt ridiculously expensive but still is good quality?
